If Honda has a new 2025 model, I may buy one before I get my 20219 Talon R to 50,000 miles. It still runs like new, so I really don't need to replace it. Two of the guys want it but If I buy another new Talon R I may just keep it.

I just replaced my worn-out rear axles. The outboard joints wore out and started to click. I bought the Super ATV Rhino 2.0 axles. The Honda axles only come in two pieces, and you have to install the inboard joint. They cost more and you need the boot clamp tools.

Insane that Honda doesn't sell a complete, drop-in axle.
not really, stock is superior in terms of quality so just rebuild and move on - bigger isn’t better in this case -lol

Let us know how they work out

I have used Clamp-tite wire, band/buckle clamps/ and even harbor freight stainless zip ties for permanently securing cv boots across many atv’s: sxs’s with zero problems - the Honda Ear clamps are ideal but many ways around that tool on the cheap and just ass effective.

Just because my two cents are free

My Pioneer 1000-5 front axles were clicking bad with 1000 miles on them. Switched to Rhino 2.0 on both front and have had no issues for 1500 miles so far. I chose the Rhino for ease of installation. At the time of purchase I got a good deal with a coupon. I have the proper tools for the boot cover band. I have replaced dozens of boots in my automotive career. Nothing is more aggravating than a leaking band on an axle assembly.
