Is there anyone with a 2017+ that can look at the tank on the master cylinder and see if there is 2 outlets on the tank going to the master? Was looking at the parts online and it looked like the tank right above the master was a lot longer than the '16.

All P1K use the same reservoir.

Part # 46660-SNA-A01

Upon further inspection, it would appear the entire Master Cylinder assembly would be the same for all 1000's as well.

The LE's only differentiate by using a VSA modulator after the master to modulate each individual wheel.

I bring this up because i retrofitted a wilwood master to get the dual inlets in case the front or rear brake line leaks, I'll still have the opposite brakes working. Looks almost like there might be 2 inlets on the LE.

It isn't an LE master, all 2017+ use a diff master than 2016.

The part I quoted above was just the reservoir it's the same for all 2018 models atleast. I'd say it's the same for all 2017+

By the way I'm not sure if the 1000 is like this or not but the old Big Red had crossed lines that if one broke the opposite side on the same would still work and that same side on the front or rear would still work.

E.g; The front drivers side breaks, then the passenger side front and the drivers rear would still operate.

The '16, if u leak at any line you loose all brakes. With a master that has the front and rear isolated with a separate inlet for each, u will still have the opposite end brakes of whats leaking.

@snuffnwhisky, I was at my local dealer today for their Honda Hunting days open house. I did snap a picture of the master cylinder on brand new machines. Just like you thought, they are indeed fed by 2 different lines from reservoir to master cylinder. Hope the pics show it. Just wanted to confirm your suspicion.

I just rechecked my part numbers again.

Same Master Cylinder for all 17-19 P1K, even LE.
So yes '16 is different.
