P1000 20 hour check

We purchsase our honda 1000 delux and off we went on vacation where we put 1500 miles on the Pioneer, I changed the oil and filters as required and changed the front and rear diffs also. Thsi work was done my myself due to no dealer close by. Will this have any effect if a waranty issue comes up? The unit runs great.

It shouldn't. Keep some type of records where u bought the oil and filter and u should be fine.

Believe valves were suppose to be checked also. Honestly they would probably want you to bring it in anyway. So there would not be any problems with warranty.

Honda says *only if needed on valves.
Meaning only if they are noisey.
99 out of 100 units do not need valves adjusted at all.

Okay. Sounds good. I went 20 hour. They recommended it. Told them I would service rest.

Correct. There is actually a law protecting customers' rights to perform services on their machines without fear of voiding their warranty, as long as that service is done properly and doesn't contribute to any failure. Also...they cannot deny a claim for something like a burnt engine because you added a bugbuster windshield. They CAN deny an engine claim if you disable the rev limiter and spin 'er up to 10,000 rpm.
