snorkel kit

Do I need a Snorkel? I dont play much in deep water or mud so do i need a snorkel and is there ANY benefits other than mud/water?

I just joined and wanted to give back any info I could to help future members. I have 1000-3 eps with 27" Blackwater evolutions on 12" ss316 black ops, and a snorkel kit from snorkel your atv, and an led from black oak led. At this point I can say I would have gone with 28 evo's and 14" wheels...

Put a snorkel on over that past few days and ran all my vent lines, came out nice. Easy job, I'd post a picture if i could.
