handicap brake pedal

Have a double amputee solider friend with a Polaris Ranger that mentioned he has a hard time with the brake pedal with his artificial leg. I don't think the Ranger has a parking brake like the Honda, but have not seen it yet. Some vendors have $500 kits, but looking for any ideas as there are...
